Speaking & Presentations

Practical Ideas. Engaging Conversations. Real-World Application.

I’m available to speak with professional organizations, conference audiences, graduate medical education programs, and other groups interested in understanding how artificial intelligence and emerging technology can support their work.

My presentations are designed to make complex ideas approachable and useful. Rather than focusing on technical jargon, I help audiences understand what these tools can do, where their limitations are, and how to begin using them responsibly and effectively.

Experience Grounded in the Work

With more than 12 years of experience in graduate medical education, I understand the competing priorities, communication demands, and behind-the-scenes problem-solving that professionals manage every day.

I have been invited to speak about artificial intelligence and its practical applications at national meetings and directly with individual programs and professional groups. While many of my examples come from GME and medical education administration, the skills and strategies I share can be applied across a wide variety of roles and professional settings.

Speaking Topics

Presentations can be adapted to the experience level, interests, and goals of your audience. Topics may include:

  • Getting started with artificial intelligence

  • Practical ways to use AI in everyday work

  • Writing effective prompts and improving AI-generated results

  • Using AI to support communication, planning, organization, and content development

  • Responsible AI use, privacy, accuracy, and professional judgment

  • Understanding the opportunities and limitations of emerging technology

  • The evolving role of AI in graduate medical education and administration

  • Building confidence and encouraging thoughtful AI adoption within a team

Customized presentations and training sessions are also available for organizations with specific needs or objectives.

Designed for Your Audience

Every group is different. Before the event, I work with organizers to understand the audience, the setting, and what participants should take away from the experience.

Sessions can be designed for:

  • National and regional conferences

  • Professional associations

  • Graduate medical education programs and institutions

  • Administrative and leadership teams

  • Faculty and staff development events

  • Workshops, retreats, and team meetings

  • Groups outside of GME that want to build practical AI skills

Presentations may be offered as keynote-style sessions, interactive workshops, panel discussions, or customized training experiences.

What Audiences Can Expect

My speaking style is practical, approachable, and engaging. Participants leave with a clearer understanding of the topic, examples they can relate to, and ideas they can begin applying to their own work.

The goal is not simply to talk about technology. It is to help people feel more informed, confident, and prepared to use it thoughtfully.
